Here's the light disassembled.  I used a hack saw blade to patiently cut through the glue holding the lens to the back piece.  A forstner drill bit just a little smaller than the camera was used to drill the holes in the plastic.  A Dremel tool was used to enlarge the hole for final fitting of the camera.
Here's all of the pieces including the VisionTech VC23WB color camera I got from www.securityideas.com  This is a weatherproof camera.
Checking to see the correct placement of the camera in the circuit board.
The center portion of the circuit board with the connector pins cut out. Use a fine tooth blade for this operation.  LED reflectors are still in place here.
Preparing to cut the center two reflector bezels out.
All of the removed parts so far.  The reflector bezels, one resistor form the center of the board and the center portion of the board.  The resistor was removed just for clearance while cutting the board.
Just doing a visual check here to check how things will have to go back together.
Just a little mockup here to check the fit.
Here's the new three piece board after a little wire and soldering.  This is just a single layer board, just maintain the previous continuity.  Reinstall the previously removed resistor back into the same holes it was removed from on the connector portion of the board.
Starting to reassemble here.  Take your time!  Check the clearance where the center plug, camera and wires meet in the area just above the plug.  You may need to use the Dremel tool to cut some trough areas in the back piece for wire routing under the camera.
Don't have to many of these until you are at least this far along.  Final assembly shown here.  Before gluing everything back together do a temporary install back in the car and hooked up to your monitor to check the horizontal alignment of the picture.  Use epoxy to reseal the lens to the back and around the camera in the lens and on the back.
This is how it looks when you get it reinstalled.  Most people don't even notice the camera being there.
This is how it looks on my Panasonic 7200U monitor.  I've also got my VCR hooked up for recording from this camera.  Hopefully I will be able to get some good tape when I have some Vettes behind me.
Here's my Panasonic head unit with 7" motorized monitor.  The TV, DVD, VCR and rear view camera all display here.
